Surendra Hazarie defends his PhD thesis!

Surendra Hazarie successfully defended his PhD thesis today. Surendra becomes the first member of the group to get his Doctorate. His work covers the impact of human mobility (physical and virtual) on a number of matters of key importance including socioeconomic inequality and the spread of epidemics. Surendra will be moving on to take up an appointment as Data Scientist in Comlinkdata based out of Boston. Happy trails to Surendra!
